Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FourSight ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. FourSight is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Monitor targets you do not own or have authorization to monitor.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or exploit internal networks (SSRF or similar attacks).
• Overload or intentionally degrade any third-party service through monitoring.
• Distribute malware, spam, or illegal content through status pages or any Service feature.
• Resell or redistribute monitoring data without authorization.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

FourSight provides website and infrastructure monitoring on a best-effort basis. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service itself.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Monitoring results are informational. We are not responsible for false positives, missed outages, or delays in alert delivery.

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Billing is based on the number of active monitors at the time of renewal.

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing period.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You retain ownership of any data you provide (e.g., monitor URLs, status page content). We do not sell your data to third parties.

FourSight offers optional SMS alert notifications for monitor status changes. By enabling an SMS notification rule and checking the opt-in consent box, you provide your express written consent to receive automated, recurring text messages from FourSight at the phone number you provide. This consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Message frequency: SMS message frequency varies based on the number and frequency of monitor status changes (e.g., outage alerts and recovery confirmations). You control frequency through cooldown settings, severity filters, and monitor scoping on each notification rule.

Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. FourSight does not charge separately for SMS notifications.

Opt-out: You may stop receiving SMS notifications at any time by disabling or deleting the SMS notification rule in your account settings. You may also reply STOP to any SMS message to opt out. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at [email protected].

Supported carriers: SMS delivery is supported on major US and international carriers, though delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: Phone numbers collected for SMS notifications are used solely for delivering alert messages and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

Consent records: We maintain records of your SMS opt-in consent, including the date, time, and method of consent, in accordance with applicable regulations.

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of FourSight. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

You retain ownership of content you create through the Service, such as status page configurations and monitor names.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FourSight and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay for a paid plan.

Upon termination, your monitoring data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period. Active subscriptions will not be refunded upon termination for cause.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
